What do Weezer, Robert Plant, Chromeo, Mavis Staples, Justin Townes Earle, The Walkmen, Black Mountain, Superchunk, Les Savy Fav, The Vaselines, Junip, Underworld, and Cloud Cult all have in common? They all have new albums in stores today, and they're just the ones we had time to play on our regular Tuesday night review of the new music.
Also out today that we didn't get to; Brandon Flowers of Killers solo, Grinderman featuring Nick Cave, Azure Ray, and Of Montreal that we've been playing for a few weeks...can this be the start of the 'holiday' season of new stuff?!
Our friends at NPR take an interesting look at the art of being a record store today.
