Pitchfork 2010 Kicks Off

Pitchfork 2010 is underway in Chicago's Union Park. Sharon Van Etten kicked off the festival as concert goers wandered into the park in the summer heat. Day 1 includes El-P, Liars, Broken Social Scene and Modest Mouse.

Chatting with Brendan Canning of BSS, he commented on the uniqueness of the line-up from year-to-year. This year is no different with first few acts ranging from Tallest Man of Earth's subdued folk set to El-P getting the crowd hyped with hands in the air.
