Got to sit down with a dude who I will forever be connected to
When I hosted the Fakebook series Chuck D was my very special guest Brother Ali and Slug were my musical guests, We were all nervous and in complete awe of Chuck and here we're doing our thing in front of someone we all were so honored to meet who had been so inspiring to us all.
It bonded us all together because we all considered it a personal and professional highlight.
Brother Ali is someone who has something to say both in his music and in person I know how silly it is to say but that is RARE.

Wow. Fantastic set - is there anywhere I can find a list of all the songs? They just sounded fantastic the way Brother Ali laid em out. I wasn't able to write it down as I listened, and I'm not against just listening to it again - it'd just be nice to find a list. Excellent program. Thanks to everyone involved!

Fantastic set. I got pulled away 1/2 way through and was PISSED.
But glad to see that it is online already! Great job guys.

I could totally see an in-depth Sunday evening show on Curtis Mayfleld.

I am so impressed by how down to earth Brother Ali is. He genuinely cares about his fans and the message he makes with his music. I am a huge fan. Keep it Brother Ali.

I wished I could hear the whole thing, because it was a great show. I too loved how Brother Ali cared about if his messages were being heard. It actually brought tears to my eyes when he doubted himself and his work. I hope hope he knows how loved and respected he is because his music has gotten through to me.
