Monday: Leslie Gore, "I'll Cry If I Want To" (1963)
Leslie Gore's first full album and it was all about crying. Could it have been the first concept album?

Tuesday: Bow Wow Wow, "I Want Candy" (1982)
Song: "Go Wild in the Country"

Wednesday: Gram Parsons, "Another Side of This Life" (2001)
This is a collection of solo Gram Parsons' demo recordings from 1965-66. His work is much more folk/blues influenced on these early recordings. Later as a member of The Byrds, The Flying Burrito Brothers and as a solo artist, we hear his influenical country rock sound. We played "Zah's Blues," recorded in March of 1965.

Thursday: U2, "The Joshua Tree" (1987)
We dropped the needle on "Red Hill Mining Town," a song you don't hear on the radio as much as the big hits from this record.

Friday: Van Morrison, "Saint Dominic's Review" (1972)
We played "Redwood Tree" and reflected on the beauty of nature, just as Van might have when he wrote this song.
