Teenage Fanclub are giving away a little piece of their long awaited new record..

Teenage Fanclub recently released their ninth full length record, Shadows. It's their first new material in several years. Last night we discussed the album on our Musicheads podcast. Today, we're giving away the tune "Baby Lee" for free when you subscribe to our Song Of The Day podcast.

If you're a new subscriber, you'll also receive new and free music from Wolf Parade, Blitzen Trapper, Off With Their Heads and Delphic, as well.

Celebrate the Fourth of July with Atmosphere

Last year, The Current celebrated the Fourth of July with a soundtrack provided by Prince. This year, we asked our fans what Minnesota artist we should feature this year, and you chose hip-hop artist Atmophere.

To gear up for the big weekend, you can check out some of in-studio performances here and here (oh, and here at Fakebook), as well as request your favorite Atmosphere tracks. Then tune in all weekend long to hear Atmosphere tracks, sessions, interviews, and a special "Current Presents" on Sunday night beginning at 9 pm.
