Monday: Blondie, "Eat to the Beat" (1979)
"Eat to the Beat" is Blondie's fourth album. We played one of the U.K. singles "Union City Blue." That song was also featured in the 1981 horror movie, The Hand. -JR

Tuesday: Piper, "Can't Wait" (1977)
Piper was Billy Squire's band in the 70's. Piper wasn't as big as Billy Squire's solo career and I didn't know they existed until I saw this at Cheapo. We played "Blues for the Common Man." -JR

Wednesday: Midnight Oil, "Red Sails In the Sunset" (1985)
Before they had MTV hits with "Beds Are Burning" and "Blue Sky Mine," Australian band Midnight Oil possesed an edgier, more propulsive sound, puncuated by the occasionally spastic yawps and screams of frontman Peter Garrett. From their 1985 release (featuring frighteningly apolcalyptic artwork of a post-armageddon Sydney), we played "Kosciusko." -SS

Thursday: AC/DC, "Highway to Hell" (1979)
This was the last album of the Bon Scott era of AC/DC. We played the controversial last track "Night Prowler." (The serial killer "The Night Stalker" aka Richard Ramirez was a big fan of this song and AC/DC, so naturally this led the public to accuse AC/DC of making evil, Satan worshipping music) -JR

Friday: Living Colour, "Vivid" (1988)
The debut album from funk-metal pioneers, Living Colour. This record spawned the mega hit "Cult of Personality." We played the song on the album produced by Mick Jagger, the Grammy nominated "Glamour Boys." -JR
