For today's assigment: I thought it would be fun, with both DeVotchka and Jonsi in the Twin Cites this weekend, to features songs with lush strings sections in it. I think it will work especially well with today damp forecast.
I'll feature songs from Nick Drake, Beach Boys, Travis, The Verve, Jens Lekman and some of your ideas as well...
BTW: speaking of Jonsi. I will feature him live on the airwaves around 2:00 this afternoon!
He will drop by to talk about his shows in the Twin Cites at the Pantages Theater and his new solo album and perform a few tunes!

I was noticing the strings theme and somehow forgot your honey do list. Thank you honey for doing a strings theme. I don't care the genre, strings make the song. I always love the theme of the day, but today, the morning after the end of my 8 month relationship, they're cheering me up in ways only music can.
