Friday Coffee Break: Animal Songs

(updated below)

If you heard our conversation with MPR's Movie Maven Stephanie Curtis this morning, you might know why we're talking animals for today's 9:30 Coffee Break. In short, the phrase "bear sex" was uttered. Never mind why. Anyway, always appreciative of a good conceptual segue, we're making songs about animals our topic for today's coffee break. What are some songs with some kind of animal in the title? (Not the word "animal," but actual examples - bird, dog, wolf, elephant ...). Let the stampede begin.

Update: Tough choices today. We could have built a whole set around just Beatles songs about animals. We went with:

1) Pixies: "Monkey Gone to Heaven"
2) The Beatles: "I Am the Walrus"
3) Neko Case: "The Tigers Have Spoken"
4) Rufus Thomas: "Bear Cat"
5) Yeah Yeah Yeahs: "Gold Lion"
6) The Stooges, "I Wanna Be Your Dog"
