After a static chart last week we have the exact opposite this week!

Six new entries and one surprise re-entry. A huge local debut too.

And for the first time in a long while a band has two songs on the chart.

We lost; Jonsi, Arms Akimbo, Solid Gold, Edward Sharpe, Gorillaz, Phoenix

and the Hall of Fame inducted Yeasayer.

It's really depressing that I hate over half of this playlist. It's even more depressing to see how irrelevant the Current has become in my life. I remember when I could hear almost every hour of the waking day jazz and hip hop other than a couple of token hipster-friendly artists.

I remember when my biggest complaint was that punk and metal were underrepresented. I yearn for those days.

Well, back to Radio K and KFAI.
