The definition of "orch folk"?

It doesn't seem like it was that long ago that Stephin Merritt dropped by for an in-studio session with Mary Lucia. He and the gang from The Magnetic Fields are back with a new album called Realism which hit the shelves this past Tuesday. Merritt has called it his "folk album" and in this interview he talks about naming the album and says "we find that thing people are most likely to complain about and give it the title."
When I listened to the lyrics of the song "We Are Having A Hootenanny" I immediately had to wonder if there's a Scientology reference in there. Listen for yourself, when you grab the tune on our Song Of The Day podcast page for free.
