Today is International Human Rights Day and Portishead is helping raise awareness of human rights with the help of Amnesty International on a new track titled "Chase The Tear". The tear, in the title, is referring to tearing a piece of paper as opposed to a tear in your eye. The track is available here and all the proceeds from sales of the track go to benefit Amnesty International. Hopefully, this is a sign that Portishead's last album, Third, was more than a one off reunion album and might actually mean that the band will continue making more great music together in the near future. One can only hope. In the meantime you can watch a performance of Portishead's "Chasing the Tear" below.
