Honey-Do for Saturday: Motorcycle songs

Honey-Do assigment today is motorcycle songs. I suppose this might be the weekend to take that bike for one last spin before you mothball it for the winter. So, we'll take a few 'motorcycle songs' for one last ride today!

I have a good handful of those songs in the mix today until 3pm. We'll hear songs from Yo La Tengo, Richard Thompson, Neil Young and a few of your ideas as well...

United States of Americana on the Current

Join me for a brand new show! Sunday mornings from 9 to 10 it's the United States of Americana on 89.3 the Current.

What does that mean you ask? Well, it's the more country side of the Current. The place where you will hear artists like Wilco, Ryan Adams, Son Volt, and newer things Those Darlins, Megafaun & the Avett Brothers. I also will play classic country on the US of A. Last week I featured the Flying Burrito Brothers & the Louvin Brothers. I even had an "in studio" session with Rosanne Cash!

This Sunday (11/15) I'm going to feature songs from people like Willie Nelson, The Pines, Robert Earle Keene, Steve Earle, Gillian Welch & Alejandro Escovedo
