It was just so weird. No one got it when it was first released because they didn't accept it for what it was. If you just watch and with no expectations or ideas you'll get it.

I love all the movies, but I remember watching Yellow Submarine several times over on Saturday mornings. The powers that be really thought it was a kids' movie, and would use it to fill up time after the other cartoons were done. I don't know that I ever saw it all the way through, but it didn't matter.

I love them all (well, maybe not Magical Mystery Tour, and wowza is Let It Be sad!), but the fact that A Hard Day's Night STILL looks fresh and sassy and just bursts with the energy of the times and all time - that's gotta be the best movie. Thx for having the poll and all this Beatles stuff.

A Hard days night catches the band while they were still fresh and not just going through the motions...the didn't even do the voices for yellow submarine...how pathetic.

As an entire movie A Hard Day's Night is probably the best...As bluemeanie said said Let It Be is sad but on the other hand the last 30 minutes of the move, the Rooftop performance, truly showed that through all their bickering it seemed like they still loved to play together live...it's sad that that stopped...maybe they wouldn't have been so bitter toward the end. They were a GREAT band !!

And let's not forget "The Rutles: All You Need is Cash," Eric idle's wickedly funny mockumentary.

I grew up watching Yellow Submarine as a child. It's one of the first movies I remember seeing. To this day I still love it!
