Meet the Beatles (Again)

We're not saying any of these songs are bad. Some folks, however, may feel they're not as great as everyone says. So which song do you feel is the most over-rated? Which songs aren't on the list? Let us know in the comments.

A Day in the Life overrated? Are you kidding?

I really like Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da - but out of these 4 - this is the overrated one.

Is Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da even considered a "highly rated" Beatles song? Geez it's like voting on whether Octopus's Garden is over-rated. Or am I over-thinking this?

Worst Poll ever. Day in the Life and Hey Jude are masterpieces, Michelle was a very nice ballad, Ob-la-di is a McCartney disasater.

My son, at age nine, sat down at the piano and began to play along with OB LA DI OB LA DA.

I was blown away.

He began lessons shortly afterward.

While that song is the weakest of the four. It does have a great significance to me.

HEY JUDE is my all time favorite song. Period.

Dang

Would have said Hey Jude ten years ago, but it is one that matures with you. Voted Michelle because I just don't like it.

Yeah, this is a silly list. I'd say Sgt. Pepper on the whole is completely over-rated - it's an extended collection of novelty songs, yeah, you know it is. But this quiz has two songs that don't get rated at all, so how can they be over-rated?

How could "Day in the Life" be overrated? How many non-Beatles fans actually know that song?

I agree with some other comments - this is a very bad poll. Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da is not a very good song and should not even remotely considered good enough to be over-rated.

I can't say that any Beatles song is over rated, generally speaking. I think, as proven in the comments here, that it's gonna come down to individual opinion.

For most my life I have been fanatical about the Beatles. I can't think of a time I wasn't. But. . . as a kid I could have given a list of over rated Beatles Tunes. I had a list of songs I didn't care so much for (mostly for being "over rated" or over played).

Now. I can listen to all Beatles songs. I have my favorites, but none bother me in the least. I like each of them more and more as the years pass by. So for anyone to feel one way or another about a Beatles Song (let alone anything in life) it is not about being over rated, but merely opinionated.

Day in the Life is one of the best Beatles songs; it does not deserve to be on this list. I was a teenager when Michelle was released. At the time, I thought Michelle was beautiful. Now, I really don't care for the song. I was never big on Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, but I don't think of that song as ever being highly rated. I also disagree with Hey Jude being in the poll; but, at least that song was and remains one of the best known Beatles songs. So, my vote is for Michelle.

I'd have to say, that none of these are overrated at all. The true most overrated Beatles song is I Am The Walrus.

I wonder how this list was chosen. I wouldn't have thought "Michelle" or "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" were highly rated amongst all the Beatles' work.

I can't stand "Hey Jude" and feel it's waaaay over-rated. Maybe in 10 years I'll feel differently about it, but I dunno, I'm doubtful.

I find the George Harrison tunes tend to be my favorites. I say he's UNDER-rated.
