According to NME...The legendary poet & singer Leonard Cohen collapsed at a concert in Valencia the other night while performing, "Bird on a Wire." Food poisoning is thought to be the reason for the collapse.
The good news is Mr. Cohen is expected to be back on stage tomorrow in Barcelona, which is also his 75th birthday. If you are a fan of the music of Leonard Cohen, Mean Larry's annual tribute show is happening Monday night at 7th Street Entry.
NOOOOO! Oh man am I glad I saw him in Minneapolis on this tour! I can't take it! My heart is too fragile! It was funny, he seemed both frail and vibrant at that show - if that makes any sense. His humor and magnetism shone through, but when he doffed his hat and his white hair caught the light... It was magical but also a little arresting.
