Cover 2 Cover covers 4 decades..

Today on Cover 2 Cover we featured tunes that were originally recorded in the 70's and 80's and then covered in the 90's and '00's.

First, there was Ned's Atomic Dustbin with their take on the very first tune to hit the #1 spot on the US record charts back in the year 1976, The Bay City Rollers' tune "Saturday Night." This version was included on the So I Married an Axe Murderer Soundtrack in the mid 90's.

For our second selection today we played The Charlie Hunter Trio & Norah Jones covering Roxy Music's "More Than This." The original version is an awesome side-one, track-one from the 1982 record, Avalon.

I couldn't find an "official" video for the cover tune, but who doesn't dig some karaoke once and a while?
