Do you think they sound like Jane's Addiction?

Middle Class Rut are also known as MC Rut. They are Zack Lopez and Sean Stockham from Sacramento, California. Years ago they were in a band called Leisure. That band dissolved in 2003 and these two have been working together for several years since. In that time, the band have released 4 EPs. Their latest, the 25 Years EP was released back in May. Today on our Song Of The Day podcast you can grab the tune "I Guess You Could Say" for free!

MC Rut sounds similar to Jane's Addiction. The lead singer sounds a lot like like Perry Ferrell but witout the edginess. (who can compete with that man???) Also, Stephen Perkins (Jane's Addiction) is an AWESOME drummer- maybe one of my favorites of all time. MC Rut drummer- not so "active". I'm biased because I'm a huge Jane's Addiction/Porno For Pyro's fan. The featured song itself is good though.
