Honey-Do List assignment: surfs up!

Here we are in the midst of a nice hotstreak. Might as well embrace it! So today for my Honey-Do List assignment play some "surf tunes!"

I'm totally stoked to play you surf tunes tunes from Dick Dale, the Beach Boys, the Ventures & even more recent things from Man or Astroman!

How about something from St. Paul's own 99ers? They have a great CD out on Spinout Records called STAND UP AND SURF.

As far as I know they're the ONLY local surf band signed to a national indie label.

I have one called "Kurdish Instrumental #9" off the Stimulating Sounds album from the Vibro Champs - a band I play in. Not to toot my own horn but it's a cool, moody little number ya might enjoy.
