Posted at 7:39 AM on June 22, 2009 by Steve Seel

Todd Rundgren is 61.
Cyndi Lauper is 56.
Chris Urbanowicz (guitarist, Editors) is 28.

1963 - 13-year old Stevie Wonder first entered the US singles chart as Little Stevie Wonder with 'Fingertips Parts One and Two.'
1968 - The Jeff Beck group made its debut. Singer Rod Stewart was so shy he hid behind speakers for the first few songs.
2000 - After giving himself various new identities' during the 90's, The Artist Formerly Known As Prince announced he wanted to be known as Prince again.

Kris Kristofferson, singer-songwriter, actor, and musician - best known for hits such as "Me and Bobby McGee", "Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down", and "Help Me Make It Through the Night" is 73 today. Kristofferson has one of the more storied and surprising lives of any musical artist. He earned a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford University - while there he became a boxer, and started writing songs. He also served as a captain and helicopter pilot in the army. We played "Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down."
