Wow, what a day!

I can't believe what an amazing day we had yesterday for Rock the Garden. The weather was perfect. It's supposed to be hot for summer music fests in the GREAT outdoors!

I haven't even mentioned the music! I have never heard Solid Gold sound better. Just loved their song "Neon Rose" with that almost samba beat. Yeasayer sounded so dreamy in the heat of the late afternoon. Calexico was wonderful, especially their cover of Love's "Alone Again Or" & their recent "Two Silver Tree's"...let us not forget The Decemberists, who played their entire Hazards of Love album and even included their take on Heart's "Crazy on You!"

Thank you to everyone who volunteered! Thank you for attending Rock the Garden! Already looking forward to Rock the Garden 2010!
