Decemberists kick-off North American tour tonight!

Tonight The Decemberists will kick-off their North American tour in Los Angeles. They'll play a steady stream of dates through August along with Robyn Hitchcock and the Venus 3, Andrew Bird, Heartless Bastards, Blind Pilot and Other Lives. I think it is the perfect time to take a look at the how The Decemberists have been featured on our station:
They were the #1 choice of our listeners in the Top 89 of 2006.
Carson Ellis (cover artist for The Decembersists and Colin Meloy's baby-mamma) designed The Current Artist Series Tote Bag exclusively for our listeners as membership gifts.
Back in March, Colin called in for an interview with Steve Seel.
Bill DeVille, Mark Wheat and Mac Wilson reviewed The Hazards Of Love on a past episode of Musicheads.
Of course, they're playing Rock The Garden along with Calexico, Yeasayer and Solid Gold on June 20th.
