3 songs to raise your spirits during a job transition...

Anna Bliss from Minneapolis picked today's My 3 Songs set because..."I am one of the throng currently in "job transition." These three - admittedly, kinda old school - songs have been played at very apropos times along the journey - "Let It Be" was on about the time I found out I was being laid off. "Three Little Birds" ("Don't worry 'bout a thing...'cuz every little thing's gonna be all right) was next in line, during the first weeks I was sans job. And "Waiting for the Great Leap Forward" ends the set - because that's where I am right now - waiting for the great leap into a new job (whenever that job and I find each other - which may require a leap into a new economy). Three songs not about jobs, but describing the internal journey of the job seeker (or at least me)."

Billy Bragg - "Waiting For The Great Leap Forward"
