Nothing from Get Ready???? Boo-urns!

nothing from "get ready" or "waiting for the sirens' call"? does the current cease to acknowledge new order as a band in this millenium?

Not me, Andrew. Song-for-song, Get Ready and Waiting for the Sirens' Call are arguably the best albums of New Order's career.

Absolutely not! We love New Order and picked them to be polled because we know there's a fan base out there! Like you guys! But, we simply do not have all the records in our library. We are only a few years old. It takes a lot of money and time to buy all the music we'd like from the last 50+ years. We'll get there eventually.

Aw, no True Faith? No TOUCHED BY THE HAND OF GOD?!? No... BRUTAL??? OK, kidding on Brutal, but it's still a fine tune.

mac: for sure, i just didn't want to say they were the best 2 in fear of upsetting die-hards.

melanie: whoa, i was just making a joke! now you made me feel bad! it's all good, i understand.

Confusion!!!

I consider myself a die-hard N.O. fan (what with them being my favorite band!). On the early records, they were good for 2-3 killer songs per album, plus the genius singles, but their albums were always somewhat unfulfilling (yes, even Power, Corruption & Lies). In completely unexpected fashion, they returned from hiatus at the beginning of this decade and decided to focus on being a rock band -- and they sounded great.

Dammit, I was working and didn't have a chance to hear this one. I just requested it too. This isn't fair, I wanted Bizarre Love Triangle 12" extended version though. Not one of the offerings.
