1955 - Elvis Presley made his TV debut on the show "Louisiana Hayride."
1957 - Mark E Smith (The Fall) was born.
1962 - Craig and Charlie Reid (The Proclaimers) were born.
1963 - Patsy Cline was killed in a plane crash.
1971 - Badfinger kicked off their first US tour.
1982 - Russell Leetch (Editors) was born.
1983 - Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" was #1.
2000 - MC Hammer became a preacher at the Jubilee Christian Centre in San Jose.
2002 - The first episode of "The Osbournes" was shown on MTV.
