On this date in 1945, guitarist, singer, and songwriter Eric Clapton was born. A member of The Roosters, Casey Jones and the Engineers, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Cream, Derek and the Dominoes and Blind Faith, and of course enjoying a long and successful solo career as well. Clapton consistent ranks in surveye as one of the greatest rock 'n roll guitarists of all time. To honor the man known as Slowhand, I played "Let It Rain" from his 1970 solo debut.
