Pitchfork compiles a whole bunch of musically-related innauguration events for you in one place.

The Wrens promise, swear, guarantee that they've got some new music on the way, and apologize for the delay.

Today In Music History:
1954 - Trevor Rabin (Yes) was born.
1961 - Wayne Coyne (The Flaming Lips) was born.
1961 - Suggs (Madness) was born.
1962 - Chubby Checker's "The Twist" became the only single in history to make it to #1 on two separate occasions. (The first in September, 1960.)
1964 - "I Want To Hold Your Hand" by the Beatles was released in the U.S.
1978 - The Police began recording Outlandos d'Amour.
