1969 - Marilyn Manson was born.
1970 - Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens of the Stone Age) was born.
1973 - Bruce Springsteen's debut album Greetings from Asbury Park was released.
1979 - Charles Mingus died
1979 - Prince made his live debut at the Capri Theatre.
1997 - Sonny Bono was killed in a skiing accident.
2001 - Kirsty MacColl was laid to rest.
2003 - Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day) was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
