After I lamented the sheer jump-the-sharkness of the Obama "Hope" poster tributes/mashups/etc. last week, Paste Magazine is now presenting a couple of collections of the better ones that people have made utilizing their "Obamicon Me" application. All the ones included in these collections are indeed pretty good. Here's the first ten, and the followup 40.

The Washington Post's and the New York Times' photo slideshows on yesterday's pre-innauguration party at the Lincoln Memorial feature some pretty awesome shots of some of the musical performances.
The Edge, Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois have some wine and burst into song.
