1986 - Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys) was born.
2001 - Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour won the right to his dot com name which another man had registered and was using to sell Pink Floyd merchandise.
2006 - Lou Rawls died.
2007 - 'Sneaky' Pete Kleinow (Flying Burrito Brothers) died.
