Eartha Kitt passed away yesterday.

Dan Auerbach (Black Keys) will release his solo debut, Keep It Hid on February 10th. He's also playing First Avenue on March 7th.

1935 - Abdul 'Duke' Fakir (The Four Tops) was born.
1955 - Lars Ulrich (Metallica) was born.
1968 - Led Zeppelin started their first tour in North American as Vanilla Fudge's supporting act.
1976 - The Sex Pistols recorded "God Save The Queen."
1981 - AC/DC's "For Those About To Rock We Salute You" was #1.
1999 - Curtis Mayfield died.

Happy Boxing Day!!

At this time of year we like to look back at our favourite music of the year.
I discovered this mix this year even though it was released last year and
couldn't find a better one to play as my Discovery of the Year!

Benny Benassi decided to tour Canada on a train a few years a go and put this mix together as a 'travelogue' of the mixes that got the best reaction from the crowds!
It's the second in the "Cooking for Pump-Kin" called ' Special Menu' ;
