1943 - Harry Shearer (Derek Smalls, Spinal Tap) was born.
1958 - Dave Murray (Iron Maiden) was born.
1959 - Chuck Berry was arrested after taking 14 year old girl across a state line.
1960 - Wil Sinnott (The Shamen) was born.
1964 - Brian Wilson (Beach Boys) had a nervous breakdown during a flight from Los Angeles to Houston.
1964 - Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) was born.
1977 - Cat Stevens changed his name to Yusef Islam.
1989 - The Phil Collins tune "Another Day In Paradise" was #1.
1999 - George Harrison's Maui was broken into.
2006 - Bono was to given an honorary knighthood.
2007 - The Police were named the highest earning tour of 2007.
