"My 3 Songs" for Monday

Posted at 2:33 PM on December 8, 2008 by Steve Seel (1 Comments)

I love this set today. Mark Benjamin of Mpls writes, "I call this my 'inappropriate lullaby set.' The themes of these three songs may not be 'kid friendly,' but they are guaranteed to put my 6-month-old twin daughters to sleep."

1) Wilco, "Hell Is Chrome"
2) Eels, "Restraining Order Blues"
3) The Replacements, "Androgynous"

Kinda reminds me of that scene in "Three Men and a Baby" where the Tom Sellek character is reading an article about a boxing match, with all of it's violent details, to the baby in a very soft, sing-songy voice in order to lull the kid to sleep.

Did I just admit to having actually watched "Three Men and a Baby?"
