"My 3 Songs" for Friday

Posted at 2:13 PM on December 5, 2008 by Steve Seel (1 Comments)

A sonic "road movie" today: Andrew Munsch of Mpls writes, "These are just some of my favorite songs from artists I enjoy listening to while driving down the open road, thinking of what it was like to travel through the countryside in a romantic past that probably never was ... though I still like to pretend."

1) Tom Waits, "Long Way Home"
2) Fountains of Wayne, "Fire In the Canyon"
3) Mark Mallman, "Hookhand"

Thanks Andrew! Anybody else got a travelin' set, or any other three-song mixtapes you care to share? Do it in the usual place.
