1948 - Southside Johnny Lyon (Asbury Jukes) was born.
1971 - Sly and the Family Stone's "Family Affair" was #1.
1972 - Justin Welch (Elastica) was born.
1987 - Madonna filed for divorce from Sean Penn (she changed her mind a few days later and then re-filed in 1989.
1988 - Roy Orbison played his final gig in Cleveland, Ohio.
1993 - Frank Zappa died.
