"My 3 Songs" for Tuesday

"Excessive Facebooking," writes Lindsey Strobel of Chaska, "has gotten me thinking about high school, and that's what these songs remind me of."

1) Ben Folds, "Annie Waits"
2) Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow / What A Wonderful World"
3) Travis, "Why Does It Always Rain On Me?"

Thanks Lindsey. By the way, at what point does one know that one's Facebooking has become excessive?

Finally, I once again slaughtered Mr. Kamakawiwo'ole's name when announcing it. I do believe, now that I think about it, that it's pronouced "kah-ma-ka-VEE-vah-OH-lay."

I heard the Iz song on the wedding episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8 this week!! I wouldn't be surprised if it got another spike in iTunes sales after hearing that.
