My only real problem with Jem's blog posting (other than the fact it's overly simplistic garbage, regardless of your political persuasion) is that she hailed the "appointment" of Obama as US President.

Now, I'm no expert on the democratic process, but I believe Obama was "voted" in, rather than "appointed" - I could be wrong on this, but I'm pretty sure.

It reminds me of when some dumb people called 9/11 an "accident" or made it some like an unavoidable "tragedy" like a plane crash or natural disaster - no, it was a coordinated attack by crazed radicals intent on killing as many innocent victims as they could.

I hate when I post something before proofreading it...I meant "made it sound like" rather than "made is some like". Guess I'm the real idiot.
