My 3 Songs 11/28/08
Zoe Lindberg from Wauwatosa, Wisconsin picked her set because she says that "Whenever I play these three songs in the car I turn into 'that person' who embarrasses herself when someone pulls up next to her and catches her singing. Loudly."

Air Traffic "No More Running Away"
Black Kids "I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance WIth You"
The Postal Service "Nothing Better"

Thanks for the request, Zoe.

Guest DJ Set 11-28-08

Ninja Tune is one of my fave labels, exposing me to a bunch of great new artists over the years, like The Herbaliser. They did a session for us last week and we talked about how seminal this label has been for melding hiphop, jazz and soul with innovative sampling techniques, music for the head and feet! They have always put together great compilations and the most recent is no exception. 'You Don't Know' is a triple cd set featuring the founders of the label Coldcut and some established Ninjatuners like Kid Koala and Amon Tobin. There's a local track too from Fog. For tonight's set we took the first 7 tracks from cd 1 ;

01. Ghislain Poirier - "Blazin" Ft Face-T
02. Roots Manuva - "Seat Yourself" Ft.Ricky Ranking
03. Bonobo - "Nightlife FT. Bajka
04. Daedelus - "Fair Weather Friends"
05. Mr.Scruff & Quantic - "Donkey Ride"
07. The Herbaliser - "Gadget Funk"
