"My 3 Songs" for Thursday

Posted at 5:50 PM on November 13, 2008 by Steve Seel

Night music today: Andy Nothwehr writes, "(These are) three songs that take me back to the mid 90's when I worked the graveyard shift all by myself and listened to the radio all night. You'd think from my selections I must be depressed! Sorry. For me, the early-mid 90s alternative era is still my favorite."

1) Mazzy Star, "Fade Into You"
2) Radiohead, "Fake Plastic Trees"
3) K's Choice, "Not An Addict"

Are you kidding? In my book, that's not depression, it's musical bliss. You're talking to a Red House Painters and American Music Club fan here. 90's sadcore all the way, baby.

Someday, I will do a radio show that is, essentially, "music for the graveyard shift."
