1983 - Topper Headon (The Clash) was arrested for walking his dog while drunk in London.
2002 - Jam Master Jay's funeral took place.
2003 - Bobby Hatfield (The Righteous Brothers) was found dead in a hotel room in Michigan.

Dancing in the face of fear today: Mary Buelow from Woodbury writes, "I recently had brain surgery and these three songs were the ones I kept re-playing to keep my spirits hhigh and my mood upbeat. It wasn't always easy, but it helped. If I would have been able to get up, I probably would have been dancing."
