I Want My MTV

Posted at 12:16 AM on October 30, 2008 by Jill Riley (1 Comments)

I'm notorious for complaining about what's become of MTV. I can't help it.

But I was delighted to see some of my favorite videos from the 80's posted here.

What were some of your favorite videos? I have such lovely memories of my family watching the "Thriller" video together and my sister and I having a VHS tape ready at all times to record our favorite videos... and watching Remote Control while we ate dinner... (sniffle, sniffle)

"My 3 Songs" for Thursday

Posted at 1:08 PM on October 30, 2008 by Steve Seel

"All three of these songs have been stuck in my head," writes Jilla Nadimi of Mounds View. "And what is a better way to be distracted in school?"

1) The Kinks, "Lola"
2) Feist, "So Sorry"
3) Animal Collective, "Who Could Win A Rabbit"

I'd say that's a broadly diverse repertiore of distraction, Jilla. Thanks!

Still lookin' for your Election Day M3S set ...
