1946 - Marty Greb (The Buckinghams) was born.
1951 - Mik Kaminski (Electric Light Orchestra) was born.
1971 - The Grateful Dead's former manager was arrested for taking off with more than $70,000 of their money.
1978 - George Harrison married Olivia Arias.
1988 - The Human Rights Now! world tour kicked off in London featuring Sting, Bruce Springsteen, Peter Gabriel, Tracy Chapman and Youssu n'Dour.
1989 - Paula Abdul's "Cold Hearted" was #1.
2002 - Thieves broke into Bjork's home in London and stole recording equipment. 2005 - Kanye West went off-script to say "George Bush doesn't care about black people" during a live benefit show.
