Three years ago Angela Merkel was running for German chancelor and used "Angie" by the Rolling Stones. Lyrics included "Angie, you're beautiful, but ain't it time we said good-bye?" and "All the dreams we held so close seem to all go up in smoke" She won anyway! Go figure...
