Kings of Leon "Only By the Night"
- the first single went straight to #1 in the UK, displacing Kate Perry!?!?

Jenny Lewis "Acid Tongue"
- her first REAL solo but she has a lot of help from 'friends' like Elvis Costello

TV on the Radio "Dear Science"
- our CD of the Week got a rave from Pitchfork!

Blitzen Trapper "Furr"
- This Portland OR band are now on Sub Pop and they step up the lyrical magic

The Replacements have their last 4 albums remastered and reissued
and local super-group (plus adopted son Jeff Tweedy!) Golden Smog have a new compilation available "Stay Golden, Smog"

AND speaking of locals;
Atmosphere just announced another show Nov 11th at First Ave

AND...the most recent tour rumours are weird, would it be Led Zep if it wasn't Plant?!?!
