Mark Farina will be back in town tomorrow night for a rather unique gig;

A few hours before Mark Farina takes the main stage, Minneapolis couple Carrie Quinlan and Jainarain Kissoon will take each other as husband and wife on the same stage when they are married at Epic. This will be the first marriage for Quinlan, Kissoon and Epic Events Center. The ceremony will take place at 6:30 pm as a private affair for friends and family but when 10:30 pm rolls around, the doors will open to the public and The Reception will really get started.

"We chose to have Mark Farina perform at our wedding because we've seen his DJ sets in the Twin Cities several times, and have always been impressed. We also liked the fact that Mark Farina has included Minneapolis artists Chuck Love and Alexander East on his compilations, so there?s a strong Minnesota connection, " said Kissoon.

Carrie and Jai met at the University of Minnesota during a dance crew competition called Ballyhoo, 8 years ago, and they have been together ever since. They have both always enjoyed and played an active role in the electronic music scene in the Twin Cities.Jai is a hobbyist DJ who has played in many clubs throughout downtown Minneapolis and Carrie has been a Go-Go dancer at many events.

This is the set we played, featuring as the wedding coouple pointed out, two local DJ's Alexander East and Chuck Love. It's part of the compilation cd he's just done for fabric;
