1976 - During his birthday celebration, Jerry Lee Lewis accidentally shot his bass player, Norman Owens in the chest. Owens survived but sued his boss.
1984 - Prince and the Revolution's "Let's Go Crazy" was #1.

Mates of State...World Record Beaters?!

Mates of States were in today, and
I mentioned in the interview a blog that they do about touring with their
two young children Magnolia (4) and June (9 months).
We talked about a World Record Reading event during the interview but
I forgot to come back to it so if your interested check it out, a good
reason to read with your kids. AND the TV show we talked about is Yo Gabba Gabba
