1977 - Jonny Buckland (Coldplay) was born.
1987 - Peter Tosh was shot and killed in his home by armed robbers.
1996 - Noel Gallagher walked out on the rest of Oasis half way through an American tour after a fight with his brother Liam.

2) Ween, "Gabrielle"
3) The Jayhawks, "Angeline"

Whoa. Not to mention that "Gabrielle" by Ween is the most genius riff on Thin Lizzy (and specifically Phil Lynott) ever put to tape. Thanks Tim.
