1942 - Daryl Dragon (The Captain and Tennille) was born.
1965 - Elvis Presley invited The Beatles to his home in Bel Air where they jammed along to records until the early hours of the morning. It was the first and only time they met.
1967 - Brian Epstein (The Beatles manager) was found dead from an overdose.
1979 - Sarah Neufeld (Arcade Fire) was born.
1988 - Tracy Chapman's self titled album was #1.
1990 - Stevie Ray Vaughan was killed in a helicopter crash.
