"My 3 Songs" for Friday

Posted at 12:12 PM on August 29, 2008 by Bill DeVille

Ryan Goeken chose today My 3 Songs. He chose Heiruspecs because they opened for Why? & they blew his mind. He was also exited to find out that Hieruspecs are from St. Paul. He picked El-P song simply because he digs it. Well done Ryan.

Heiruspecs - 5ves
El-P - Deep Space 9MM
Why? - Gemini-Birthday Song

Guest DJ Set 8-29-08

Posted at 3:30 PM on August 29, 2008 by Mark Wheat

Paul Van Dyk has been one of the most prolific and long lasting DJ's.
He will be spinning live at Epic in Minneapolis on Sept 11th.
This set is taken from one of my fave compilations "Seven Ways".
He wrote, produced and mixed the whole thing in 1998 in Berlin.

We played tracks 3 thru 7;
3. Heaven
4. I Like It
5. Come (and get it)
6. Forbidden Fruit
7. Beautiful Place.
