Bonnaroo!

This week I'm heading down to Manchester, TN for Bonnaroo 2008! Anybody else from Minnesota going?

I'll check in with Mary Lucia Thursday and Friday afternoon, we'll bring you exclusive backstage performances and I'll be bringing you updates on The Current Music Blog.

Saturday and Sunday I'll broadcast live from the backstage studios at Bonnaroo.

It'll be just like you're at Bonnaroo with me. Except... you'll have showered.

Me and five of my friends will be leaving Wednesday night for Bonnaroo. We are taking a winnebago there and are very excited. If it wern't for the current, I would not know some of the amazing bands that are attending. We will have a blast for everyone that can't make it.

It's a pretty amazing lineup. Have you plotted out which stages you're hitting up at what times, Jill? I made my own fantasy itinerary through their website. While you're there, could you try to explore the ways people move from stage to stage in such a crowded environment? Is it even possible to attend different shows in different areas at different times? I have no idea how it works, and maybe you can help us visualize the way crowds move at these mega-festivals. Drive safe!
