"My 3 Songs" for Tuesday

Posted at 4:50 PM on June 24, 2008 by Steve Seel (1 Comments)

Dan Bakke writes today, "It's been rumored that these three songs can battle the most furious rain. They hold the power of the sun inside of them and if used correctly can bring its rays to light ... Just putting that out there for ya."

1) Red Hot Chili Peppers, "Behind the Sun"
2) Dr. Dog, "Heart It Races"
3) Earth Wind & Fire, "Shining Star"

Hmmm ... it seems to have worked. (Mostly sunny, 84 degrees as this set aired today). That Dr. Dog tune is a pretty effective cover of an Architecture in Helsinki song -- interesting choice of cover, and wonderful choice of songs, Dan. Thanks! Now, if we can just find the three songs that keep it sunny but in the mid-70s ...
